Acceptance

By accessing or using My Diving Call, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Purpose of the Platform

My Diving Call is a community platform designed to connect:

  • Dive professionals
  • Dive centers
  • Instructor trainers
  • Diving Students
  • Ocean enthusiasts

The Platform provides networking, reviews, community discussions, educational information and related services.

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Respect other users
  • Use the Platform lawfully
  • Maintain the security of their accounts

Users are responsible for all content submitted through their accounts.

Reviews and Opinions

Reviews reflect the opinions of their authors. My Diving Call does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content and is not responsible for opinions expressed by users.

User Content and Account Deletion

Users retain ownership of the content they submit to My Diving Call, including reviews, ratings, comments, posts, profile information, and other contributions.

By publishing content on the Platform, users grant My Diving Call the right to display, store, and distribute such content as necessary to operate the Platform and its community features.

If a user requests account deletion, My Diving Call may remove or anonymize personal profile information associated with the account. However, reviews, ratings, comments, posts, and other community contributions may remain visible on the Platform in order to preserve the integrity of discussions, historical records, and community-generated information.

Where content is retained after account deletion, the author's identity will be removed and the content may be displayed under the username: Former Member.

Intellectual Property and User Content

Users may only upload content they own or have permission to use, including photographs, logos, videos, documents, and other materials.

By submitting content to My Diving Call, users grant My Diving Call a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

Users remain responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to any content they upload.

Professional Verification

Verification confirms that a user has provided credentials matching a recognized diving agency. Verification does not constitute endorsement, employment verification or guarantee of competence.

Independence from Training Agencies

My Diving Call is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, operated by, or acting on behalf of any diving training agency, certification body, or organization unless explicitly stated. References to training agencies, certifications, and professional credentials are used solely for identification and verification purposes.

Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Post false or misleading information
  • Create fake accounts
  • Impersonate others
  • Harass, threaten or discriminate against other users
  • Manipulate ratings or reviews
  • Publish unlawful, defamatory or abusive content
  • Use automated systems to scrape or misuse Platform data

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to hide, restrict or remove content that violates these Terms, Community Guidelines or applicable laws.

Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies.

Limitation of Liability

My Diving Call provides the Platform "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or suitability for any particular purpose. Users participate in diving activities, employment arrangements and business transactions at their own risk.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time.
